Nana Yaw is the Founder/Executive of the Girl Child Hygiene, a non-profit organisation aimed at providing sanitary products /pads to young girls in rural areas in Ghana, contributing to the achievement of SDG goal 3, 4 and 5.
He is a Professional Strategic Communicator / Journalist with over 9 years of experience in devising successful media strategies and orchestrating special events. Meticulous in managing and carrying out special events. He has Excellent communication, presentation, organisational, and writing skills along with the ability to think creatively as well as work efficiently to meet crucial deadlines.
Nana Yaw is a Strong media and communication professional with a First Class Honors, B. A Communications Studies focused in Journalism from Ghana Institute of Journalism. He is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Communication at the University of Ottawa, Canada. He holds a Professional Certificate in Criminal Justice and Correction Reporting from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) Law School, Accra, Ghana, Professional Certificate in Communication and Media Studies – Radio and TV Broadcasting, GBC Training School, Accra, Ghana and a Professional Certificate in Digital and Social Media Marketing from the Reuters training School, Canary Wharf, London.
Nana Yaw is a multiple award winner and nominee. He won the Best Reporter of the Year, at the GIJ Eminence Awards in 2017 and 2019 respectively.
