Mesharck Okunnor, is the Project Manager in charge of school Assessments for the Girl Child Hygiene, a non-profit organization aimed at providing sanitary products/pads to young girls in rural areas in Ghana, contributing to the achievement of SDG goal 3, 4 and 5.
As a professionally trained teachers for the past twelve (12) years, Mesharck has handed students and is much aware of the challenges the girlchild goes through during their menstruation.
Mesharck Okunnor holds a Diploma in Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Education, both from the University of Cape Coast. He also holds BA in Communication with focus in Journalism from Ghana Institute of Journalism, Accra, Ghana. He again holds a Master of Art degree in Communication Studies from the University of Cape Coast.
His favorite quote is one made by Paul Kagame which States that “We cannot turn the clock back nor undo the harm caused, but we have the power to determine the future, and to ensure that, whatever happened (bad) never happens again, come what may”
