Capt. Emmanuel Kweku Ofoe is the Vice Chairman of the Girl Child Hygiene, a non-profit organization aimed at providing sanitary products /pads to young girls in rural areas in Ghana, contributing to the achievement of SDG goal 3, 4 and 5.

Emmanuel Kweku Ofoe is a seasoned mariner who Studied Bsc. Nautical Science at Regional Maritime University in some areas of study; Navigation, Shipboard operations, Safety of life at sea, ship management, Metrology, and Communication at Sea. He holds a Professional Certificate in Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training from the Offshore Petroleum Industry Training Organization (OPITO) Aberdeen

He is a Mariner with over 3 years of experience as a navigator at sea. He has sailed on international vessels like Subsea 7 construction vessel SEVEN BOREALIS and A FRENCH Ship Bourbon evolution 804. Also a deck officer at his various offshore field i.e KWAME NKRUMAH and Evans Atta Mills PLATFORM PRODUCTION STORAGE OFFLOADING Unit for Tullow Oil company.

Emmanuel Kweku Ofoe currently works with Ghana Ports & Harbour Authority as a Port Control Officer in Charge of vessel traffic and safe Navigation in and around the Commercial Area of the Exclusive Economic Zone.

I intend to use my abilities and the knowledge I have accumulated over the years to promote progress in society since I am zealous and passionate about driving and causing improvement in every area in which I find myself.
